Cappadocia, as a rocky wonderland, is placed on a high plateau. It impressively crosses an approximate distance of 250-300 km from the north-east to south-west. Depending on tectonic and volcanic acts of the Earth in the Tertiary and Quaternery periods, Cappadocia was featured with its unique natural structure and has hosted many peoples up to now.
